I did some sewing for the Jazz Baby Barbie which fit practically nothing I had and had to lengthen and alter every pattern. Such a pain. But when we share it makes life easier! Hugs, and I will have to look at your craft blog, and see how much fun you are having! On the student teacher, I really soaked for a short time and really separated the red fabric from the white after blotting, because boy Mattel red bleeds for sure. Yes, removing trim...yikes...but sometimes you have to..AND FLOWRS, made that mistake once...! Live and learn OR SHARE...great tips, thanks! So original fashions were not in that plan. It's been fun to look everything up! I only had one Barbie Olympic doll growing up and always missed the Barbie experience.

I was laughing as you referred to the name changes in dolls. Even in recent years the younger dolls keep switching names and sizes. I recently came back to making crochet clothes for the dolls after a decade's absence to donate and I had to adjust to name changes and trying to figure out which dolls would/could wear which fashion doll patterns I have in my supply.Sheltie Timeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09767754895398722143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7980253501772390281.post-57759201831766790232021-04-21T17:23:18.528-07:002021-04-21T17:23:18.528-07:00Love your #3 Barbie. Kathy and I have removed the trim and washed things fairly successfully. On white cotton outfits, I've used Efferdent tablets with pretty good luck. I'll have to get some liquid Oxiclean which I'm sure is easier to use. Sometimes they are awful...these were just some collector's who died---fix it pile. Minor things wrong and dirty...she must have never gotten around to it. They were more expensive than clothes for a growing pre-teen. So, I never had any of the original outfits, so when I find one it is the mother-lode!!! Hugs, and thanks for enjoying! My favorite is the red, white and blue Skipper dress-great for the summer holidays:@) Looking forward to seeing the rest!Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13420480574010238475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7980253501772390281.post-25656319009808269662021-04-20T11:25:33.923-07:002021-04-20T11:25:33.923-07:00WOW!!!
