The girls are dressed for a casual Spring day, and maybe a little soccer. They took their masks off for these photos.
My names left to right (Scooter, Melissa, Chelsea, Skipper)
Wardrobes are a mixture of Barbie, Stacy, and miscellaneous pieces in Spring colors. There are quite a few pieces of vintage.
Chelsea wants to play soccer and the California twins, Scooter and Skipper of course want to skateboard.
Melissa is new on the block, and sports a cute yellow skirt and hoodie.
Lets go to the park and skateboard.
In the Park, Cassidy sports a vintage Fashion Avenue Skipper 20625 outfit...she's on her way to her aunt Casey's to pick up her cousin for church services.
She's substituted a pineapple purse for the original. She found the jacket and the dress at two different Thrift stores...amazing!
Babs is heading to the park also...it's a beautiful day, and she is dressed for a stroll on a warm day.
She's a Repro...but still lovely. I haven't used her much, still waiting on her story to evolve.
Babs: I hear music coming from somewhere.
One fer the money, two fer the show...three to get ready and go cat, go....
Don't step on my blue suede shoes....!
(Claps from the scattered crowd)
Lucas: Thank ye...thank ye.
Welcome to ARTS in the Park, my name is Lucas and I'm originally from Nashville. Yes, of course, but I'll be strolling at a safe distance and singing for yer pleasure. Anyone have a request? I sing anything from my time 1950-70's.
Pinkie: (Clapping and smiling, while she waits for Babs).
From the Crowd: Someone hollers out: Wake up Little Susie...!
Lucas: Well is your name Susie?
Pinkie: (Shakes her head no.)
Lucas: Wake up litttle Susie, Wakeup....
Well I told yer Mama you would be in by ten...
Well, Looks like we goofed again...we gotta go home.
Pinkie: (Hmmm, he sure can sing?)
Lucas: Thanks folks, taking a break now....(puts on his mask and approaches the pretty girl on the bench). Hi, there, hope you enjoyed the music.
Pinkie: Those oldies are great and I sure did, but if you come closer, I'll have to wear my mask.
Lucas: Well, that would be a shame.... May I ask your name, Missy....?
Pinkie: Sure, my name's Pinkie, it's really Penelope, but everyone calls me, Pinkie...
Because of my hair...I guess.
Lucas: Well, like I said before, I'm Lucas....now don't you have a favorite song?
I'll sing something just for you.
Pinkie: My mama always loved, "Love Me Tender", if you don't mind.
Lucas: Love me tender, love me true
All my dreams fulfill, ...
...For my darling, I love you....
and I always will.
Pinkie: My mama would have fallen in love with you. Thanks, Lucas, but I have to go meet my friend now. Bye....and Thank you again!
Love me tender, love me sweet
Never let me go
You have made my life complete
And I love you so....
(Strum, strum, strum...)
