Monnie R (Bride's Mother): Oh, honey, rub my feet, I don't think I've had heels on in two years.
Sandi BL (Groom's Mom): When your done, Todd, you can rub mine, please (chuckle!)
Todd: Well, I don't have four hands, well I need one more to hold my beer.

Sandi: Look, they are putting out the cake.
Mulan: Oh, my it is gorgeous---just like Richelle wanted.

Sindy and Jamie from the Patisserie in the GrandView just brought in the cake.

Jamie: I'll go get the coffee ready to serve.
Sindy: Thanks, I'll get them to start their photos for the cake.

Monnie: That looks delicious!

Ryan: So what do we do...now?

Richelle: Well, we hold hands and cut the cake together and then we feed each other a bit from the first piece.

Richelle: Now you have frosting on your cheek!
Ryan: You have some on your nose...gosh, I love you!
Richelle: I love you, too.
(music playing "A thousand days, a thousand days...")

After 18 months of not having family gatherings,
(my dolls' world, too.), this wedding was so much fun to do and share. Thank you for all your comments and encouragement.
I'll still do a few tutorials...but this is the end of the wedding. Everyone will hopefully enjoy the memories. I hope your dolls and real life can enjoy some normalcy now.

DeleteWell, that was some wedding feast!!! And it certainly looks like you had a blast putting all of this together. For most of us, our dolls have been instrumental in pulling us through such a very difficult time. We may have been all locked up but the dolls were still free to roam about and have a "normal life!" And since the dolls are an extension of ourselves, we have been able to enjoy all of those things from the pre-covid era be they festive events, parties, shopping, traveling or wearing the latest fashions. How fabulous is this doll community!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, April...I gave the illusion of a feast and skipped the food entirely. Hubby asked why---I said I couldnt' face making 32 plates of food, lol. As far as normal life...poor Richelle and Ryan were supposed to be married in 2020, and they got too busy with work, lol. And, yes, this is definitely a retreat into something. I found myself sniffing at the music as I was posing the dolls, as we hadn't been to a wedding in so long. Yes, and thank heavens for dolls! Hugs, Sandi
DeleteI think our Creative Outlets have helped us all pull thru this time that is so difficult and stressful Sandi. I could Lose myself in the Fantasy World of Art even when things are Stellar, when they're not, well, it's a Lifesaver!
