One of the fun things about doing the doll stories and photos are the personalities that evolve and the events that control 'their lives'. Celebrating Mom's Day isn't just about Mothers and Babies...once a Mother, always a Mother!
We have a few in my doll world.
Some Moms blow in....like a hurricane unleashed.
Colette(actually Callie from Peoria) had an unwelcome visit (permanent staycation) of her mom, Ella, arrive at the beginning of the pandemic.
But, sometimes you need her advice when you screw up your life...and of course, Ella is always ready to give advice.
Sometimes Moms are sisters. Grown Barbie, mothers Chelsea by making sure she has plenty of experiences, such as here at the Chicago Botanic gardens.
Supporting Chelsea with her passions!
"Never put the spoon in the mixer when it is on!"
Chelsea's aunt Chris has two twins, Scooter and Skipper. Now they live next to each other and are all 'One big Happy Family.'
Sometimes Moms are Aunts. Aunt Barbara is a mentor for Barbie, and grand niece Lara.
Sometimes Moms are the four-legged kind.
Foofie: Honestly, it was just one night ...?
Sometimes, Moms are the only date to take on a Red Carpet event!
Moms, Sandi and Monnie are still activists.
Monnie is a great mom in the kitchen...
Supporting every win or miss...
there for daughter,
Richelle's most important moments along with
future Mom-in-Law, Sandi.
Aren't they sweet?
If Doll's could cry it would be here at the wedding.
...and here...I really did forget to add a handkerchief for each, ...sigh.
Moms can of course can OFFER some advice to the unpredictable Father of the Bride, Todd.
Moms have jobs, juggle their time, buy treats to bring home for the kids...
...supports her husband and blended family in every crazy scheme and family problem.
Speaking of crazy---some families are! Getting a photo for Grandma for Mother's Day, took more than one take!!!!
Finally Happy Mother's Day Mom, Grandma, Auntie, Sister, and to all those single parents out there!
LOVE is ALL AROUND!
I can't wait to get to the point to take new photos and new peeks into the Dolly world that lives in our basement. Just today, I found Vickie's Vintage bin, almost over 2 months later. The bin was the last one in the mountain I went through in the extra bedroom. The porch has been sorted and doll bins are working their way back down to the doll room.
I really do wonder what all my residents have been up to...during their long storage vacay!
