I do as well.
ReplyDeleteI know it is hard enough to get followers---when they had Google+ I had lots, then that was dropped, now this. Hugs, followed your sheltie blog, now too! Hugs, Sandi
DeleteI'm in! Don't need these kind of changes just when things are building momentum!!! Oh well, roll with it is all we can do:@)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lynn...I know it's hard to get people to sign up...! Thanks so much, hugs, Sandi
DeleteHi, Linda...lol, the fish was a nice bass---secret always hold it closer to the camera and then it looks huge...! LOL, that was a secret of my dad! Hugs, Sandi
ReplyDeleteOh Sandi, you are gorgeous!!! And yes you are right. Blogger has lost quite a number of its doll blogs, especially considering how many were around when I first put mine up. It's bad enough the "upload photos" is more complicated, but the elimination of the "follow by email" option is annoying. I have no idea who had signed up and where or how to replace it. I'm so busy trying to eek out content, the least Google can to is to keep up the technical stuff. In any case I'm here and always will be for you. Big hugs.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much April, 'Follow It' is quite easy---pretty much why I used it. Just say you are a publisher and then you can add as a photo in your widgets, the link with their arrow...does it all. All you have to do is email. So far I haven't gotten any garbage for signing up---as I actually subscribed to my own blogs to check and see if they are posting properly. YES>..content is soooooo important, unless no one sees it.Yikes. Hugs, and can't wait for your next post! Sandi
DeleteBeautiful photos!Love the cute header too!Greetings!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Maristella....always appreciate your visits! Hugs, Sandi
DeleteI finally got down to this Archived Post Sandi and I'm so glad to see your Smiling Face being Shared in this Post. I keep my fav Blogs on my Sidebar so that I always can see when they post something new or quit Blogging and have to then just fall away/off if they've decided they're not doing this anymore. So many Bloggers moved on to something else, for a while, before Pandemic, I was concerned Blogging might die out, glad it did not and had a resurgence when everyone was Home more in Lockdown and needing Positive Outlets to sustain them thru these turbulent and scary times we're now in. As for Blog Content, I try to be eclectic since I never began my Blog as a Themed one and I probably wouldn't have as much to write about and share if I had to keep it a certain predictable Topic. It seems Themed Blogs do very well tho' and cultivate their very specific Audience where the main Topic attracts a great many Followers. I've not Lost Followers much during the 12 Years, but the growing of numbers has been slower than it used to be during Blogging heyday Years ago. I seem to get a rotation of people who I know show up regularly because they comment regularly and so they're not as Anonymous as those who just come for a Silent Visit and are more spectator oriented that participation oriented within this Community. I Lurk at some Blogs and rarely comment and have become very interactive with others, in so many ways Blogging is like Real Life since there is a Real Person behind each Blog.
ReplyDeleteWell, we hope there is a real person...behind each blog. I keep hoping that more people will connect, but then, they are connected apparently just to their screens. I comment when I have something to say---or just to let the poster know their stuff was seen and read. Some people put out so much effort---without the ads...I try and cultivate those, and skip all the Amazon schlock---and this is what I wore..and here is all the sources you can get it from. Sigh. Frankly the last time I bought something because someone said to was a set of Encyclopedias for our first BABY...yikes what a learning experience. Basically you couldn't sell me anything unless I wanted it before, in the first place. Lurking is allowed---when you are just nosy---too. Hope all is well, and I know there is a real person behind your blog---there would have to be...! Hugs, Sandi
