Creating a Covid doll world, where can everyone congregate?

barbieoldnewgreenredo

SURPRISE...New Characters showed up  I found my stories hanging at the end of the year...with Covid and election drama taking over real life, and myself and my dolls choosing not to participate.

barbieoldnewgreenredo

Emilie...grew in personality and possibly added a beau.

Craig and a new family for 2020

and diversifying with lots of new and thrifted dolls.

Vanessa, Jacquie's daughter---was quite the dynamo.

barbieoldnewgreenredo

Mysterious Colette/Callie came upon the scene.

Jacquie tried to open a business in Covid

barbieoldnewgreenredo

Old businesses, had to improvise---Vickie's Sanitize station and limited shoppers in the small boutique.

  4. Loved the masks and your story lines! I really enjoyed it. Got a 3" long red truck ornament (my obsession since last year) today at Dollar Tree in their markdown bin--.25! Think I will save it for a dollhouse rather than the real Christmas tree. Gotta take my treasures where I can find them. Also a package of sickly green glow in the dark beads--with a punched circle of silver or black paper, they will make great Halloween decor!

  5. Your Grand Hotel looks great! My Grand Hotel has been sitting in the garage for years! You make me want to get it out and paint it along with my HSM High School. I love all of you scenery. It looks like you have you have the Hotel raised? What do you have it on?

    1. Hi, Ms.Leo --I did a whole series of tutorial blogs on doing the Hotel---You can search the entire series by using Grand Hotel as the search. In a nutshell, I did a 2x4 cut to specifically fit the the base and added pillars to raise everythingn else to the same level. Biggest complaint about Mattel structures as they are too skimpy in height and depth. Hope that helps---the how to's are pretty explicit! It's amazing what 1 3/4" air will do over doll's heads!
